NEW YORK — Last year, Holy Name Province shared in the nation’s joy as Pope Francis visited the United States. Many Franciscans were among those who welcomed the pontiff in Washington, New York City and Philadelphia during his historic tour of the Northeast region. Earlier in the year, they embraced the teachings emphasized in the pope’s encyclical on the environment, Laudato Si’.
The Communications Office covered these and a wide variety of other topics, including friar celebrations and milestones, and the loss of several brothers. Below are the most popular articles of each of HNP Today‘s 26 e-newsletters produced in 2015.
Data used to determine the top stories was collected from both the Province’s email distribution system, which tracks reader activity, and Google Analytics.
The Communications Office strives to offer articles that interest friars as well as friends of Holy Name Province. Readers of HNP Today can suggest a topic by emailing communications@hnp.org.
