NEW YORK — The Province’s Communications Office reminds readers that it welcomes information from representatives of Holy Name’s parishes and ministries. A convenient information submission form is available on the Province’s Web site (see Publications section) to use to provide news for consideration in HNP Today. The names of people pictured in photos should always be provided
Below are the submission deadlines for newsletter issues in the next two months:
► For Jan. 23 issue – Jan. 16
► For Feb. 6 issue – Jan. 31
► For Feb. 20 issue – Feb. 14
► For March 5 issue – Feb. 28
Some of the topics planned for upocming issues of HNP Today include:
* Holy Name Province’s commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 20 at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Greenville, S.C.
* the award being given later this month to Michael Harlan, OFM, by St. Thomas Aquinas College
* the upcoming exhibition of paintings by Miguel Loredo, OFM, at St. Bonaventure University
* the Province’s Engage Peacemaking program
* Hope Lodge New York City, the American Cancer Society’s new facility that is located adjacent to the friars’ new Midtown Manhattan building.
