NEW YORK — The friars of Holy Name Province are mourning three deaths; the loss of two brothers’ family members, and a friend of HNP.
Frank Conlin, brother of Matthew Conlin, OFM, died in late January in St. Petersburg, Fla. Funeral arrangements had not been made, as of earlier this week.
Joseph Jordan, 87, uncle of Brian Jordan, OFM, died Jan. 21. A wake was held in Miller Place, N.Y., on Jan. 25, and a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Jan. 26 at St. Mark’s Church in Shoreham, N.Y.
Sister M. Michael Joseph Fayden, OSF, a member of Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, N.Y., died on Jan. 9, at Millard Fillmore Hospital, in Buffalo, N.Y.
