A former Siena College basketball standout was one of five players shot Sunday morning at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, according to Capital 9 News in Albany.

Kojo Mensah remains hospitalized with gunshot wounds, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police said two players were shot after they left a dance Sunday morning. When Mensah and two others went over to help, they were also shot. As of early this week, police were still looking for the shooter, acording to Capital 9.

Mensah averaged nearly 17 points last season at Siena before transferring. Because Siena would not release him from his scholarship, Mensah is not eligible to play until next year.
