BANGKOK, Thailand – Franciscan International opened its new office in the St. Gabriel’s Foundation Building here last month. The goal of Franciscans International Asia Pacific office is to foster peace-building, human rights and protecting the environment.
The opening began with the Eucharist, with the Papal Nuncio of Thailand presiding, along with Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio. Attending were John Celichowski, president of the Franciscan International Board and John Doctor, OFM, Franciscan International board member.
