WASHINGTON — The Franciscan Action Network is seeking an executive director to replace Fr. Larry Janezic, OFM, the interim director for most of this year.

Since its creation in 2008, FAN has steadily grown in the past few years in membership and effectiveness.

The executive director is responsible for organizational management and operations, fund development, programs, external relations, as well as being the liaison with FAN’s board of directors. More information is available in the full job description, which is available from Sr. Margaret Mary Kimmins, OSF, chair of the board.

“We are grateful to Russ Testa for the groundwork he has done in getting FAN established so well, and to Fr. Larry for his work in strategic planning as FAN continues to grow,” said Sr. Margaret Mary in a recent letter.

Fr. Larry has been serving as interim director since Russell Testa, director of the HNP Office for Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation, stepped down earlier this year after launching the organization.

The application deadline is Sept. 20, according to Sr. Margaret Mary, who said FAN’s goal is to hire the new executive director by December.

To apply, submit a cover letter, resume, contact information and three references to:
