WASHINGTON — Franciscan Mission Service is seeking a communications and development manager to implement strategy and execute the message of the non-profit organization through a variety of initiatives.

The position is responsible for ensuring message discipline and the quality of FMS communications with supporters as well as internal communications. Candidates should have five years’ experience in communications, the ability to interact effectively with diverse constituencies and a commitment to the mission of Franciscan Mission Service. Necessary skills include writing, editing, design and photography.

This position reports to the executive director, and will collaborate with the associate and executive directors on external communications, media relations, and development projects.
