WASHINGTON — The Franciscan Mission Service, founded 25 years ago, is seeking a program director.
The program director will work closely with executive director Kim Smolik to provide vision, leadership and execution of FMS’ goals and priorities. This individual is a mature, seasoned professional prepared to balance organizational leadership as well as program planning and delivery.

FMS, which for many years was directed by Joseph Nangle, OFM, provides training and support for lay missioners who serve for three to six years in various Franciscan placements around the world. Upon returning to the United States, missioners continue to live out their calling in lifelong mission to transform North American people and society.
