Director of Music Ministry
St. Anthony’s Church, where Michael Jones, OFM, is pastor, is seeking a part-time director of music ministry.
Qualifications for the position, as listed in The Beacon, publication of the Diocese of Paterson, N.J., are a bachelor’s degree in music or appropriate field preferable, experience with the Catholic liturgy, well-versed in all styles of liturgical music, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Responsibilities will include planning music; directing and preparing the adult and children’s choirs; cantor training, preparation and scheduling; playing piano and/or organ at four weekend Masses, holy days, special liturgies, funerals and weddings.

Family Case Manager
St. Francis Urban Center, one of the ministries of St. Francis Inn, is seeking a family case manager. The center is a small non-profit in Philadelphia striving to break the cycle of homelessness and address structural injustices to create institutional change. The applicant will work in a supportive housing program for single mothers and their children. This position is imperative to the development and fulfillment of our mission and would be best filled by someone who is self-motivated, flexible, and creative. Principal
The administration of Southern Tier Catholic School and Archbishop Walsh Academy is seeking qualified applicants for the position of principal of the pre-kindergarten through grade 12 Catholic school system in Western New York.
Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in education or related field; current New York state teaching certification; coursework or certification in school leadership; five years experience in educational leadership, teaching, or some combination thereof; and excellent profession record of service in education. Preference will be given to candidates with both elementary and secondary education experience.
The principal will serve as the chief executive officer of the schools. Specific responsibilities, as well as additional information about the school and academy, are included on the position announcement. The position will begin Jan. 3, 2011.
