The Province is mourning the passing of two friars and a Franciscan sister.
Fr. Gregg Petri, OFM, 82, a member of St. John the Baptist Province, died on Dec. 25, at St. Mary Friary in Bloomington, Ill.
Fr. Alban Montella, OFM, 87, former provincial minister of Immaculate Conception Province, died Dec. 28 in New York City. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Dec. 30 at the Shrine Church of St. Anthony in New York City.
Sr. Dolly Birmingham, OSC, 94, of the Monastery of St. Clare in Wappingers Falls, N.Y., died Jan. 7.
Fr. Berard Doerger, OFM, of Our Lady of Guadalupe Province, died Jan. 24.
