Franciscan deaths

Holy Name Province is mourning the recent passing of two friars and a Franciscan sister.

Sr. Virginia May, OSF, 91, a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, N.Y., died on July 30.

Fr. Michael Crosby, OFM Cap., 77, a member of the Capuchin Province of St. Joseph, died on Aug. 5 in Wisconsin.

Fr. Louis Michael Pintye, OFM, 62, of Immaculate Conception Province, died on Aug. 20 in Youngstown, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Aug. 23.
