Deaths in Franciscan Communities

During recent weeks, three Franciscan sisters have passed to eternal life.

Sr. Teresa Dericks, OSC, of the Monastery of St. Clare in Jamaica Plain, Mass., died July 30. She was one of the Poor Clares stationed in Gumma Ken, Japan, when the foundation started.

Sr. Mary David Fraine, OSC, also from Jamaica Plain, died Aug. 17.

Sr. Ellen Marie Mulloy, FMSC, of the Franciscan Sisters of Peekskill, N.Y., died Aug. 21. She was a member of the Order for 56 years.
