Dan Sulmasy gave a presentation to the U.S. President’s Council on Bioethics on the concept of human dignity as it is applied to bioethics on Feb. 2 in Washington, D.C. The Council is considering a major report on this subject, which is foundational and applicable to a wide variety of pressing topics such as cloning, enhancement therapies, and the just distribution of health care resources.
