NEW YORK – The fifth annual concert for North Korean refugees and the homeless will be presented by the St. Francis Korean community, 7:30 p.m., Nov. 17, at St. Francis of Assisi Church here. A reception will follow at the San Damiano Hall in the adjacent Holy Name Provincialate/Friary.
Tickets for the concert are $20, and are available at the reception desk in St. Francis House, 135 West 31st St., or at the door of the church on the evening of the concert.
The North Korean ministry at the West 31st Street Church is directed by Bernardine Kim, OFM. Included in the performance will be the St. Francis of Assisi Church Korean choir. For information about the concert and the ministry, contact the parish office of St. Francis of Assisi, 212-736-8500.
