John Heffernan points out that an article in the Buffalo News has a number of references to St. Bonaventure University. The article is about the construction boom on college campuses, as they try to meet the changing needs of today’s students.
Concerning St. Bonaventure, the article says, the university “may have the busiest summer construction season ahead, as it expands its science building, upgrades residence halls and transforms its dining facility.” It quotes the vice president for business and finance, Brenda McGee Snow, as saying, “This is unlike any other construction season in St. Bonaventure’s history.”
The article says that Bona’s “recently borrowed $3.5 million to renovate its dining hall, which will include a brick oven, food stations and a gourmet coffeehouse with a double-sided fireplace.”
