NEW YORK — To prepare for the 2011 Provincial Chapter, friars have been asked this month to focus on two key topics: the agenda and the election of the provincial minister.

On May 4, the solemnly-professed friars were sent information about nominating the next provincial minister. Those eligible for the position are friars who have been solemnly-professed five years or longer at the time of the Chapter. Each solemnly-professed friars is asked to nominate five friars for the office.
