HNP Communications Around the Province

A new book, God’s Potters: Pastoral Leadership and the Shaping of Congregations is reviewed in the spring 2007 issue of The CARA report and available through the publishers web site  www.eerdmans.com

According to the publication from the Center for applied research in the Apostolate at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., the book presents findings across four major United States faith traditions:  Catholic mainline protestant, conservative protestant, and historic Black churches. It describes who is doing the work of the ministry today, what their work involves, and how they lead their congregations.

The friars might be interested in the information in this book, said Provincial Minister John O’Connor.
