DETROIT, Mich. — The Capuchin Soup Kitchen is looking to fill the position of director of Earth Works (EW) Farm Program, an inner-city urban farm project founded and operating out of Franciscan vision and values.
EW seeks a director who will better integrate EW into the mission and vision of the Capuchin Soup Kitchen and that of the Province of St. Joseph of the Capuchin Order, according to Jerry Smith, OFM Cap, executive director of the soup kitchen. Utilizing Franciscan charism, the Soup Kitchen desires to move EW forward as a premier program for systemic change, he said.
