Camden Parishioners Spared

HNP Communications Around the Province

CAMDEN, N.J.-Jud Weiksnar reports that the 1.2 billion dollar Cramer Hill Development Plan, which would have had a major impact on St. Anthony of Padua parishioners, has been scrapped. The plan would have included the taking of 1,000 homes in the neighborhood through eminent domain.

The city and the developer are going back to the drawing board, with the hope of increasing resident input to come up with a plan that works better for all in the community. St. Anthony has already been asked to be a site for community meetings.
