CAMDEN, N.J. — Members of St. Anthony of Padua Parish participated in a citywide prayer walk here on May 19 at which groups from area churches gathered on street corners to pray for an end to violence, drugs and prostitution, and healing for families and children.
Approximately 15 people from St. Anthony’s covered the neighborhood where the church is located. A fire truck escorted members of the parish council, youth group and the Franciscan Volunteer Ministers along with their pastor Jud Weiksnar, in praying over the streets surrounding the church.
After the walk, the church groups congregated at Antioch Baptist Church for praise and worship.
