New York native Brian Jordan participated in the ING New York Marathon on Nov.5 — his 18th run in this event and his 53rd marathon.
He ran with members of the New York fire department and dedicated the race to “ to my parents who are both sick,” he said.
“My time was 5:09,” he said. “I was not first, and I was not last, but I did finish. I paced myself and I went through the Brooklyn neighborhood where I grew up.”
