Boston Social Justice Conference to Feature Kenneth Himes

BOSTON — Kenneth Himes, chair of the Theology Department at Boston College, will be the keynote speaker at a Boston archdiocesan Social Justice Conference on April 28.

The program, titled “Moving Towards the Light: Bringing Justice and Peace to Life in Our Parishes,” will be held at Boston College High School from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Topics of the scheduled workshops include:

  • The JustFAITH Program
  • Teaching Social Justice in the Catholic School
  • Incorporating Social Justice in Parish Life
  • Raising Our Voices to End Homelessness
