WASHINGTON — The Franciscan Action Network is seeking donations of new or slightly-used copies of sourcebooks and storybooks from the Franciscan tradition for its reference library.
The FAN office is especially looking for copies of the four-volume Francis of Assisi, a series of sourcebooks edited by Fr. Regis Armstrong, OFM Cap.
People who have this volume, or any other Franciscan sourcebooks, are encouraged to donate to FAN, a two-year-old education and advocacy group comprised of more than 40 member organizations and some 3500 indiviciaul members. The FAN membership base spans the breadth of the Franciscan family and also includes individuals who are “Francsican-hearted” in their worldview, said Russell Testa, director of the HNP Office of Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation.
To make a donation, or for more information, contact Marc DelMonico at the FAN office at 202-527-7575.
Among its recent activities, the Franciscan Action Network hosted a web conference titled “Franciscans & Civility in Discourse” on June 17. A full recap of the program can be heard on its website. Also available on the FAN website are resources for the weekend of July 3.
