Announcing the HNP Today Survey

HNP Communications In the Headlines

NEW YORK — For more than 10 years, HNP Today has shared the stories of Holy Name Province‘s friars and partners-in-ministry with nearly 1,700 readers across the United States and around the world. Now, the Communications Office staff is looking for ways to enhance the newsletter‘s content and is seeking feedback as it plans for the future.

“We‘re curious to know which stories our readers enjoy and which topics they wish that they could learn more about,” said Jocelyn Thomas, director of communications. “Because we‘re always looking for ways to produce a newsletter that best suits our audiences, our readers’ input is vital.”

To collect feedback, the Communications Office has created a brief survey that asks a series of questions relating to the newsletter‘s content, as well as about the way the e-publication is distributed. The survey takes less than five minutes to complete and all individually identifiable information will be kept confidential. The results will be shared with friars at the Provincial Chapter in June.

The survey was emailed to friars and partners-in-ministry earlier this month and has been completed by more than 300 people so far. A reminder to complete the survey will be sent again in the coming weeks. For those who have not yet completed it, the survey for Holy Name Province friars is available by clicking here and a survey for all other readers is available by clicking here.

“We‘re grateful to those who have completed the survey so far and we encourage everyone who reads the newsletter to share their thoughts,” said Thomas, adding that the deadline to submit feedback is Ash Wednesday – March 1. “We will be taking all suggestions into careful consideration as we plan for the future.”

The survey was created by staff member Maria Hayes in conjunction with the HNP Communications Advisory Committee. Anyone with questions about the survey or general comments about the newsletter or any aspect of Provincial communications is invited to contact Thomas at 646-473-0265 ext. 321 or communications@hnp.org.

The HNP Communications Office was established nearly 50 years ago by the late Roy Gasnick, OFM.
