ALLEGANY , N.Y. – “On Being Yourself: Franciscan Reflection on Conversion,” a talk by Michael Blastic, will launch the annual Lenten program tonight at the St. Elizabeth Motherhouse here. Michael teaches at the Franciscan Institute at St. Bonaventure University.
The four-week program will be offered at 7:00 p.m. on consecutive Wednesdays. Upcoming speakers and themes include:
- March 7 — Fr. Gregory Dobson, pastor of St. Mary of the Angels Church in Olean, N.Y., who will speak about “Via Dolorosa of Our Lives”
- March 14 –Michael Cusato, OFM, a member of the Sacred Heart Province and director of the Franciscan Institute, will discuss “The Tau”
- March 21 — Sr. Margaret Carney, OSF, president of St. Bonaventure, presents “Penitents in Modern Dress”
