Our Provincial Ministers
The provincial minister, or leader, of a Franciscan province is elected by his brother friars to oversee the province's long-range planning and day-to-day operations. The provincial minister also represents his province to the wider Franciscan Order and to the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church. Holy Name Province is currently led by Provincial Minister Fr. Kevin Mullen, OFM, who works at our provincial headquarters in New York City. Below are the biographies of the friars who have led our province since its founding in 1901.
