Ricky Ferrer

Having worked with clergy members, parishioners, the poor, the marginalized and the Franciscans, Ricky also served as a Franciscan Volunteer in Philadelphia, PA. Ricky was introduced to the friars in Raleigh, NC, at a young age and has worked and, in some cases, ministered extensively with the friars for several years. After learning about the friars, Ricky began considering Franciscan life and the priesthood.

Br. Daniel Cruz, OFM

Prior to joining the Franciscan friars, Daniel worked as a distribution supervisor for TJX Companies in Athens, Ga. He earned a bachelor's degree in 2017 from the University of Carolina, having double-majored in marketing and management science with a minor in international studies.

Daniel feels called to the priesthood. Before joining the friars, he enjoyed working with confirmation classes at the University of Georgia's Catholic Center. He is interested in joining the Franciscans because of their care for the poor, social justice work, hospitality, and community life.
