Prior to joining the Franciscan friars of Holy Name Province, Domingo worked in politics as a researcher, writer, and media manager for companies based in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. He was also an active member of the faith community at St. Matthew’s Cathedral in Washington, D.C. He holds a bachelor’s degree in religion from Dartmouth College and a Master of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University Divinity School.
Br. Daniel Cruz, OFM
Prior to joining the Franciscan friars, Daniel worked as a distribution supervisor for TJX Companies in Athens, Ga. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2017 from the University of Carolina, having double-majored in marketing and management science with a minor in international studies.
Daniel feels called to the priesthood. Before joining the friars, he enjoyed working with confirmation classes at the University of Georgia’s Catholic Center. He is interested in joining the Franciscans because of their care for the poor, social justice work, hospitality, and community life.
