Prior to joining the Franciscan friars of Holy Name Province, Daniel worked as a distribution supervisor for TJX Companies in Athens, Ga. He earned a bachelor's degree in 2017 from the University of South Carolina, having double-majored in marketing and management science with a minor in international studies.

Daniel feels called to the priesthood. Prior to becoming a postulant, he enjoyed working with confirmation classes at the University of Georgia's Catholic Center. He is interested in joining the Franciscans because of their care for the poor, social justice work, hospitality, and community life.
