Br. Hugoline Dombrosky, OFM, was born in Buffalo, N.Y., on Jan. 13, 1892.

He was received into Holy Name Province’s novitiate at St. Bonaventure Friary in Paterson, N.J., on Aug. 19, 1909, professed temporary vows on Aug. 20, 1910, and made his profession of solemn vows Oct. 15, 1913.

Br. Hugoline died on July 24, 1914, while residing at St. Elizabeth’s Friary in Denver during his first year of theology. He was 22 years old and a professed friar for just short of four years.

Each of us should be called a lesser brother, a Friar Minor. Each one of us should wash the feet of the others.”
