BOSTON – Dominic Monti paid a fraternal visit to the friars at Arch Street on Palm Sunday. It was his first visit since becoming Provincial Vicar.
The friars gathered at 5:30 p.m. for a special preprandium. At 6:30, everyone gathered in the friars’ chapel for a special evening prayer service for renewal of profession. During the prayer service, David Convertino officially welcomed Dominic. After the renewal, Dominic blessed the friars.
Following a festive dinner, a special cake to welcome Dominic was served. Visiting friars Howard O’Shea, John Anglin, and Kenneth Himes joined the Saint Anthony Shrine community for this event.
