31st Street Building Update

HNP Communications In the Headlines

Here is the latest update on the new building at West 31st Street in New York City.

Construction meetings are now taking place on an almost daily basis as decisions are being made on the final details for the building. These decisions deal with such topics as telephone systems, wood finishes and furniture for the friary.

On Aug. 29, John O’Connor did what is best termed the “monthly walk-through” of the building. John, along with construction personnel and representatives of the lending banks and the development partners, walked through the entire building, from the 60th floor to the sub-basement, inspecting the quality and progress of the work. Some of the apartments already have the kitchen cabinets in place.

The general contractor now believes the friars will be able to move in by the end of February 2007.
